‘Ti Jean & His Brothers’ made history as the first contemporary play to be featured at the New York Shakespeare Festival, Central Park. Walcott who wrote the play, and co-wrote the music with Andre Tanker, began rehearsals in June in preparation for the opening on July 20 at the Delacorte Theatre in Central Park.
